Zumba is a latin inspired dance class that will get your heart pumping and your adrenaline surging.  It's FUN, EXCITING, and a GREAT stress reducer!  You DO NOT need to be coordinated or have dance experience to participate.  I have been in classes and have taught classes with/to participants of ALL ages (from young adult to grandparents), from ALL backgrounds (dance experience, gymnastics experience, yoga experience, pilates experience, former Zumba experience, NO experience in ANY form of fitness program), and from ALL fitness levels (pregnant women - even up to 9 months pregnant!, women who work out regularly, women who do not work out regularly, women who have not worked out in YEARS).  All you need to have is the ability to have a good time!  I encourage my participants to push themselves, but only as far as they are comfortable!  I do not want anyone hurting themselves because they are pushing themselves beyond their limits.  It's important to remember that when you start you will NOT know the dances, and though most are repetitive in nature, you might feel "out of sync" the first few classes.  I guarantee that after a few classes, you will "remember" the dances due to muscle memory and classes will become even MORE fun than they were when you first started.  WARNING: I tend to enjoy throwing in a new song or two every now and then to keep it fresh!

Fall 2012 Session 2: 


 - Classes start on Wednesday, November 14th and run through Wednesday, December 19th


 - Classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm - 8pm


 - Total classes for this session (fall 2012 session 2) will be 11 classes (5 Monday, 6 Wednesday    )

    **there is chance that we will not meet the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  We might meet 

        the Tuesday before making classes Monday and Tuesday that week OR we might meet just 

        on Monday that week.  I would like to see what the plans are of this session's participants.


 - Information about classes in the new year will be forthcoming


Each class is $8.00: You must buy at least 5 classes and you can use them how ever you would like (double up one week, don't come one week, interchange between Mondays and Wednesdays) one week and no times on another week. : 

  

If you do not want to buy 5 or more classes, drop ins are $10 a class 

 - Loose fitting clothing that is easy to move in and allows your skin to "breathe"


 - Shoes that are easy to turn in (cross training shoes are best, but any shoe that are a bit worn down on the 

   bottom are best)


 - Be sure to bring a WATER BOTTLE and, if you'd like, a towel


 - Also be sure to being a positive attitude!
